**Carstar Welland** is looking to hire an Autobody Apprentice

**Job Duties**:

- Assist our Body Technicians in removing damaged parts. (bumpers/hoods/doors/trunks/trim etc)
- Patching/Hammering out dents, dimples and other minor body damage.
- Helping to re align frames and chassis to repair structural damage.
- Effectively ensuring all work is thoroughly performed accurately and in a timely manner while paying attention to detail to prevent comebacks.
- Keeping up with all training to understand technology, tools, and equipment.
- Helping to move vehicles around the shop and facility when needed
- Taking direction from the bodyshop Manager when other tasks need to be completed

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 diploma or GED.
- Currently registered with Ontario College of Trades.
- Proven knowledge and experience with automotive mechanical operations.
- Level 1 or higher Apprentice Body Technician.
- Minimum 1 years work experience in an automotive dealership.
- Must have valid Class ‘G’ Ontario driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Must be team oriented, hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
