_F & P Mfg., Inc., offers an exciting and rewarding career opportunity in a fast paced, highly automated, state-of-the-art automotive parts manufacturing facility located in Tottenham, located 40 minutes north of the Toronto airport. We are a tier one automotive parts supplier producing suspension components and pedal assemblies for Honda. We are a complete manufacturing facility and have been stamping, welding, painting and assembling parts for 30 years. We have 900 associates working at our 2 on site manufacturing plants._

F&P’s welding department consists of a number of automated production lines that uses mainly GMAW robotic processes as well as some Resistance welding technology. This equipment includes a wide variety of robots such as Panasonic, Tawers, Fanuc material handlers, OTC welding systems as well as Yaskawa Motoman. All equipment is PLC controlled using either Omron or Allen Bradley PLC’s. Welding also includes a variety of highly automated equipment such as vision systems and the use of laser technology, 350 welding robotic systems and over 400 total robots. Together these areas offer maintenance staff the opportunity to work on a wide range of highly automated equipment in a continuous improvement work environment.

**F&P Mfg., Inc. Co-op Tiered Rate Program**

Successful students for F&P Mfg., Inc. Co-op positions will be eligible for our new tiered wage rate program.

**Co-op #1 Rate**: $19.20 per hour plus shift premiums (if applicable)

**Co-op #2 Rate**: $21.20 per hour plus shift premiums (if applicable)

**Co-op #3 Rate**: $22.80 per hour plus shift premiums (if applicable)
- F&P Mfg., Inc. offers an afternoon and midnight shift premium per hour._

This program encourages and allows students to continue their subsequent co-op terms with F&P Mfg., Inc. throughout their program of studies to graduation upon receiving a successful and positive evaluation.

**Disclosure**:
If a student is on their 2nd or 3rdco-op of their respective program and have never completed a co-op program at F&P before, they will be placed into our Co-op #1 rate at $19.20 per hour. Other circumstances can be discussed upon hiring.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow all safety requirements - PPE (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protections, gloves, etc.) safe job behaviours, etc.
- Perform highly diversified duties to repair and maintain automated production equipment
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective parts, test and make adjustments to automated production equipment
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
- Use of programmable logic control systems (PLC’s to program and troubleshoot automated equipment
- Use of robotic systems to program and troubleshoot
- Other duties as assigned to ensure up-time of automated production equipment

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in an Electrical, Mechanical or Robotic welding related program
- Have a basic theoretical understanding of the following:

- Robotics systems (Fanuc, Panasonic..)
- Programmable logic controllers (Omron, AB)
- Hydraulic, pneumatic and cooling water systems
- Strong Electrical/ Mechanical understanding
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to read and understand operations standards, blue prints, maintenance and equipment manuals, etc.
- Experienced with all common office software such as (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Project)
- May be required to lift in excess of 40 lbs on occasion
