Job Summary
Active Playground Equipment is looking to fill the position of **Playground Installer/laborer**, who, under the direction of the operations manager, will primarily be responsible for performing various forms of labour to assist in the successful completion of playground construction projects from start to finish.
This position will be based out of our office in point Edward, Sarnia and you will report directly to the office each day.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years’ construction experience
- Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and tools required in various construction processes.
- Understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices
- Ability to load, unload, and identify building materials, products, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations according to project plans and supervisor’s specifications.
- Adhere to established safe-working procedures and always wear required safety equipment.
- Mix and pour concrete.
- Auger holes
- Assemble, erect, and install playground and outdoor fitness equipment.
- Working long days when required
- Occasional travel and overnight stays required for remote projects.
- Accessibility to a vehicle and willingness to drive.
- Assist with job-site administration duties, such as timesheet completion and daily logs.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Ability to take constructive criticism.

**Requirements**:

- CSA approved work boots
- Driver's Abstract
- To reliably commute or relocate to Point Edward Sarnia Ont (Homebase) for this job.

Compensation: Wage based on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Point Edward, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
