**The Opportunity**:
The Unit Aide is responsible to support the work of the Team by ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available for the smooth operation of Unit and to support care delivery activities. He/she also performs other general duties as requested by the Clinical Leader or delegate to support the work of the team members involved in direct patient care. These duties may include, but are not limited to, activities such as maintenance of equipment, furnishings, ordering of supplies, bed making, and transporting specimens to the lab.

**Hours of Work**:
Hours of work should be Monday -Friday 0800-1600

**Your Qualifications**:

- Minimum grade 12 or GED, required.
- Previous experience in a health care setting, an asset.
- Ability to organize, and prioritize, maintains the functioning of the unit in an organized, safe and clean manner.
- Good communication skills required.
- Commitment to Family Centred Care required.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize work effectively.
- Competency in other languages considered an asset.
