**PAL Aerospace** is a proud partner of Airbus Defence & Space for the Government of Canada’s Fixed Wing Search and Rescue aircraft replacement (FWSAR) program. PAL Aerospace is responsible for FWSAR In-Service Support (ISS) ranging from 1st line, embedded within DND, to performing depot-level maintenance not undertaken by Royal Canadian Air Force Squadrons. PAL’s depot-level work also includes the embodiment of aircraft modifications and the conduct of Special Inspections.

This significant and exciting project will pave the way for innovation and opportunity within **PAL Aerospace**, while growing our operations. In an effort to expand our current team, **PAL Aerospace** is currently looking for a **Master Technical Librarian (MTL)** at our FWSAR Main Operating Base (MOB) located in Comox, BC.

The Master Technical Librarian (MTL) is responsible for all publications as part of the Contractor Field Office (CFO) at the Main Operating Bases (MOBs). Will ensure the availability and operational effectiveness of all Contractor provided IT tools and devices including the coordination of maintenance of contractor provided software.

**Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to**:

- Maintain and coordinate the distribution of updated technical documentation including the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM)
- Management of data including local storage and transfers to shared repositories
- Maintain software database (e.g. Navigation Data, Maps etc.) including revision verification and downloading
- Liaise extensively with individuals and functional areas across departments to understand and develop new and revised procedures and work instructions
- Maintain management and oversight of external device issues and returns, including secured storage of laptops, tablets, and external devices
- Ensure all activities carried out are in compliance of regulatory documentation
- Other duties as assigned by CFO Lead

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient in MS Office suite user (particularly Excel/Word)
- Familiarity with airworthiness principles and experience in the aviation industry relative to aircraft maintenance an asset
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Previous Document Management/Control experience considered an asset;
- Basic office administrative skills, augmented by an electronic record keeping skill set
- Function effectively in oral and written English;
