Carpenter Assistant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- General carpentry and/or finishing carpentry duties as assigned
- Concrete forming - Daily clean up of work area
- Material placement, quantity, and quality control
- Task execution in an efficient, safe, and profitable manner
- Quality control of the assigned tasks
- Communication with the crew foreman and/or site supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A desire to learn on the job
- Reliable and adaptable
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Good communication and listening skills
- Construction experience is an asset

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma, or equivalent or enrollment in a Co-Op or Apprenticeship Program
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Willing to work at heights (trusses)
- Must have basic carpentry tools and steal toe work boots

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
