**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary diploma in Urban Design, Urban Planning or related field
- Working knowledge of zoning by-laws, municipal planning processes, planning principles and applicable legislation (including Planning Act, Provincial Policy Statement and 2020 Places to Grow growth plan)
- Demonstrated tact and diplomacy skills and the ability to exercise discretion and judgment when handling confidential information
- Advanced time management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written
- Demonstrated safe work practices
- Valid G driver’s license and provision to own vehicle
**Assets**:
- Experience working within a Planning Division in a municipal setting
- Experience utilizing City View software or similar electronic planning/ building permit processing software
**Duties**:
- Provides general feedback to planning and development inquiries including designations and zoning provisions
- Assists with Real-Estate Agency Inquiries and Compliance Forms/Letters
- Other duties as assigned
**Annual Salary Range**: $65,101 - $76,167 **(Grade 5 - Under Review)** 35 hours per week
