Voip Consultant

Able to travel to onsite locations in the Greater Toronto Area ( GTA )
- Must have hands-on experience with VOIP/Phone/PBX servers and systems and Unix Server Environments. Specifically must have extensive experience Asterisk, FreeSwitch, FusionPBX etc.
- Must have a full and clear understanding of basic Network technologies - i.e. Switches, Routers, Access Points etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide consulting services to clients in the areas of VOIP/Phone Infrastructure and networking.
- Assess client needs and develop customized solutions to meet their requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain VOIP/ PBX Systems, including Phone and Server programming. Call Flows, Routing,
- Configure and troubleshoot PBX Systems - both local and hosted.
- Collaborate with clients to optimize voice system performance and security.
- Conduct PBX system assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on pbx-related issues.
- Reply and Keep client tickets and documentation updated as necessary.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a VoIP network engineer/technician.
- In-depth knowledge of VoIP systems and IP Protocols.
- Knowledge of hardware systems including servers, memory modules, processors, and peripherals.
- Detailed knowledge of network security systems and software.
- Good project management skills.
- Familiarity with WAN and LAN systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
