Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for coordinating daily and quarterly cycle counts; monitor, investigate and report inventory accuracy, record and maintain inventory of raw materials and finished goods.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Perform daily Inventory cycle counts and problem investigation as needed; ensuring inventory count procedures are as per corporate guidelines and using the LX system for molded and printed products, as well as IML and shrink sleeve.
- Monitor and report inventory variance issues, document all inventory discrepancies and adjust records, obtaining the required approval, processing adjustments in the system and reporting inventory accuracy for the daily meeting.
- Monitor and coordinate “balanced out” inventories (e.g. those items affected by changes in artwork design and changes in material or shape).
- Use a problem solving method to determine root cause and prevent reoccurrence of inventory accuracy problems.
- Maintain accurate Foot Prints and report any adjustments
- Develop reports and procedures for inventory monitoring and control and partnering with IT to develop accurate inventory data collections reports
- Perform User Acceptance testing for technology developments related to inventory data and systems
- Analyse and process inventory obsolescence
- Reports on non
- moving, slow moving inventory and reviews inventory aging report, collaborating with other functional teams to insure that losses from obsolescence are minimised
- Monitors Intercompany transfers on weekly basis and resolves discrepancies
- Collaborates inter-departmentally and across both the Toronto and Lee’s Summit sites to support continuous improvement in inventory control and analysis processes, developing ad-hoc reports as needed, and developing robust inventory control processes to support the cessation of physical counts.
- Host physical count of inventory when deemed necessary.
- Must follow food safety and cGMP processes and procedures - training is provided

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
**Educational Requirements**: Post-secondary education, preferably in Inventory Control
**Minimum Experience/Field**: Minimum 2 years of inventory control experience in a fast paced, high volume lean manufacturing environment. Experience in plastics and/or food packaging industry preferred

**Courses Required**:
**Communication Skills**: Proven track record working with people and problem resolution and strong interpersonal, collaboration skills
**Additional Education/Experience/Skills**: Solid analytical ability and detail-orientation with a bias for action and proven ability to deliver results. Good understanding of lean concepts and MRP systems
