Port Coquitlam, Canada Riverside Childcare Full time

Riverside Childcare provides high quality childcare services to children ages 0-5 years. We have multiple job openings for all three locations, **New Westminster and Port Coquitlam locations**. We are seeking **Early Childhood educators & assistants, and Infant and toddler educators**. **Requirements**:

- ValidBC **ECE, ECEA or IT license**:

- Valid **first aid certificate**:

- Valid **Criminal Record Check**:

- Knowledge of licensing regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- References

**Duties and responisbilities**:

- Day to day care of children and facility
- Curriculum/program development and execution
- Clear and professional communication with families (Support and involve family in care)
- Clear and professional communication with colleagues, must be a team player
- Support co-workers in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Supervise children in and out of the classroom
- Maintain a clean, respectful, and orderly classroom
- Following policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and staff.
- Plan, carry out, and assess developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for children; These include circle time, arts and crafts, etc.
- Assist children in all aspects of growth and development by using a variety of teaching techniques including modelling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing.
