Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner and meets customer expectations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food storage procedures
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling practices
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Experience in meal preparation and food presentation
- Proficient in various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, baking, etc.
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to work well with the kitchen team and communicate customer preferences or dietary restrictions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
