**POSITION**:Library** **Page (Competition #2024-78)**

**LOCATION**: Norwich Library Branch

**EMPLOYMENT STATUS**: Permanent Part-time

**REPORTING TO**: Branch Supervisor

**UNION AFFILIATION**: Non-Union

**WAGE RATE**: $16.55/hr.

Assists in maintaining a high level of library services to citizens in the catchment area of the branch by performing assigned tasks, especially shelving books and assisting with public service.

**Hours of work**: Up to 9 hours per week. May include additional hours as needed.

Must be available to work evening, weekend, and some day-time hours.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
At least 14 years of age; general computer skills and knowledge of Windows software are essential; must be able to work effectively with the public and other staff members; other important assets are good communication and interpersonal skills, familiarity with public libraries, and creative thinking. Students and adults are welcome to apply.
