Digital Operator, Large Format Print Production

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a variety of printing equipment, including Large Format printers and Cutting machines, run digital presses and bindery equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment.
- Perform quality control checks on printed materials.
- Gather, organize, and wrap completed work for delivery to customer or next department
- Monitor the quality of printed material and take corrective actions.
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment and machinery.
- Maintain clean and safe work area, including all equipment and materials used in printing.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels for all materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Work independently with mínimal supervision or assistance needed.
- Some heavy lifting up to 50lbs may be required
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

- Work experience in a print shop or sign shop considered an asset.
- Previous print and/or large/wide format presses knowledge/experience is an asset.
- Preparation and installation of vinyl graphics and/or mounting graphics to substrates considered an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of large format cutting machines an asset
- Previous experience in operating bindery equipment is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills e.g. working well with others, communication, positive attitude.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
