**Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre** is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior and Renfrew. The Arnprior AJ location is based out of AJ Charbonneau Public School on Baskin Drive. We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and engaging

**Contract Part Time Support Staff for our Preschool Program**

The rate of pay is $20.19 plus 4% holiday pay ($18.00 base plus $2.19 pay equity).

**Hours of Work **would be _Monday Wednesday Friday from_ approx. 8:45am to 4:45pm (7 hour paid day)

**Requirements**:

- Experience with young children
- Ability to be on your feet for periods of time with frequent bending, and crouching.
- The ability to work well within a team
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
- Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector
- Proof of up to date immunizations and a letter of good health from a health care practitioner

Recommended:

- Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH

Considered an Asset:

- Experience with preschoolers in a licensed childcare centre, in an inclusive environment
- Experience with children with extra needs
- Child centered educational background (RECE, DSW, etc)
