**SITE HOUSING / LODGE MANAGER (PERMANENT FULL-TIME)**

The Grande Spirit Foundation is recruiting for an exceptional Site Housing & Lodge Manager to join the **Pleasant View Lodge** in Spirit River’s amazing and cozy community 45 minutes north of Grande Prairie, AB.

This exciting full-time position is responsible for the day-to-day efficient operation and management of a senior citizens’ lodge and/or housing, the provision of safe, quality services and programs for the residents according to regulatory aspects to all pertinent legislation and Board policy. This role must also ensure the safety and security of staff, the public, and partner third-party organizations.

This role shall manage and/or oversee these major responsibilities for this location in the Pleasant View Lodge and housing:

- Residents and Family
- Strategic Planning
- Budgets
- Staffing Scheduling and Coverage
- Performance Management
- Health & Safety Program
- Learning & Development of staff
- All Performance Discipline process
- Maintenance

Please note that this person should also have excellent communication skills and maintain **positive relationships** between the management team and employees; as necessary, this position’s direct report, the District Manager (Rural), may also be assigned other duties.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma in Human Services, Site Management, or Hospitality preferred.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in the management of a retirement home, supportive facility, full-service hotel, or similar complex
- A combination of training and experience will be given consideration in lieu of formal educational requirements.
- A genuine interest and empathy for the care of senior citizens
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license

**THIS HIGH-LEVEL LEADERSHIP ROLE WILL BE COMMUTING TO THE GRANDE SPIRIT FOUNDATION’S GRANDE PRAIRIE LOCATIONS FOR THE FIRST FOUR WEEKS OF THE START OF THIS POSITION FOR SPECIALIZED TRAINING.**

**PAY RANGE & BENEFITS**:
Starting from $34.53 per hour and up with EXCELLENT Health & Dental Benefits, Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability and Pension/RRSP program
