We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Hydro Vac Operator to join our team at Under Pressure Inc. As a Hydro Vac Operator, you will play a vital role in our operations by safely and efficiently operating hydro vac equipment to excavate and remove soil and debris around utility lines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate hydro vac equipment to safely and accurately excavate around underground utilities, pipelines, and other sensitive infrastructure
- Perform hydro excavation tasks using high-pressure water and vacuum systems
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures during all excavation activities
- Safely and effectively handle and dispose of excavated materials
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Communicate and coordinate with team members and project managers to ensure efficient workflow and completion of assigned tasks
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations related to equipment operation, safety, and environmental standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed, including daily reports and excavation records

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating hydro vac equipment
- Valid commercial driver's license (DZ) with a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of hydro excavation techniques, equipment, and procedures
- Knowledge of underground utility locating and markings
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and withstand exposure to various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Safety-conscious mindset and commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
