Job Posting: Carpenters Helper
Wage: Starting $18 + Depending on experience

DDD Landscape and Contracting is seeking a Carpenter’s helper to join our growing team. This is a Full-time, permanent position. We mainly work within the Dufferin County Area.

We are seeking an individual interested in carpentry. Individuals with significant experience/certification, and education will result in wage premiums.

Experience with power tools and knowledge of basic carpentry is an asset. We build, fences, decks, sheds, pergolas, etc.

**Job Description**:

- Operate various tools and equipment, including: saws, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
- Assist and support team members to complete their tasks
- Assist in the construction of fences, decks, posts, pergolas etc.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects.
- Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, and hand lifting/carrying.
- Comply with all company policies and regulations.
- Experience with carpentry is an asset
- Capable of operating equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
- Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team.
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks (lift a minimum of 50lbs)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
