Bartender - Outpost Pub

We are looking for an engaging and experienced bartender to provide attentive and friendly service to our bar patrons. You must have knowledge of different types of beer, wine, and liquor and know how to mix a variety of specialty beverages. You will also be responsible for cash handling, responsible alcohol service and opening/closing duties.

**Bartender Responsibilities**
- Take beverage orders from customers
- Upholding high hygiene standards
- Mix drinks using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
- Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
- Monitor all patrons for alcohol intake to appropriate levels
- Assist in ensuring patrons have a safe ride home, calling a taxi or Uber when appropriate
- Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons
- Keep bar area clean, safe and organized
- Maintain a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and other accessories
- Organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
- Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons

**Bartender Requirements**
- Smart Serve Certified*
- 1+ years of working as a bartender or in a restaurant/bar setting
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift
- Flexible availability: evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work Friday nights until 2:00am
- Strong interpersonal skills

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
