RoadSafetyBC regulates drivers and operates a number of programs to help regulate the safe and responsible operation of motor vehicles in B.C.

The Research Analyst supports program and/or policy development goals through the design and delivery of research studies, and communication of findings through various forums, including working groups and committees.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Public or Business Administration or a Social Science field; OR
- An equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training may be considered.
- One year of experience using research methodologies and procedures to analyse complex issues.
- One year of experience developing, implementing, and managing statistical/research/evaluation projects of significant size, complexity and importance.
- One year of experience in writing a variety of documents, such as briefing materials/public reports/ correspondence.
- One year of experience working with stakeholder organizations, agencies, and senior management.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

- Master’s Degree or higher in a related field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Public or Business Administration or a Social Science field.
- Experience in a public safety, public health, or enforcement and compliance environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI to synthesize data and create visualizations to inform decisions.

PROVISO:

- Successful completion of security screening requirements of the BC Public Service, which may include a criminal records check, and/or Criminal Records Review Act (CRRA) check, and/or enhanced security screening checks as required by the Ministry. Must also be able to obtain a federal government security clearance of enhanced reliability level or above. (Note: It is important that you read the job posting carefully to understand the specific security screening requirements pertaining to the position).

There is currently one (1) full-time permanent position available.
