Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using hand or power tools
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals on job sites
- Respond to plumbing emergencies such as leaks or clogs promptly
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Mechanical knowledge to understand how systems are designed and built
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints to plan plumbing installations
- Proficiency in assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools effectively
- Math skills for measurements and calculations
**Salary**: From $33.00 per hour
