**DESCRIPTION**:
**When**
- During the week (Weekend work rare and optional)
- Part-Time, positions available at roughly 12-18 or 18+ Hours per week, flexible due to weather
- Between the hours of 8am and 7pm
- Mid-May to Mid-September/October

**Where **Residential Sites all over Winnipeg

**What ** Gardening (Weeding, Planting, etc.) **Not **Lawn Care

You will be expected to work both:

- with team members when working on planting projects
- solo when going to residences to do garden maintenance

**RESPONSIBILITES**:
**Weeding** - identifying and manually removing weeds for multiple hours at a time

**Planting**:

- hauling plants, digging

**Hauling** - bags or wheel barrows of soil, compost, mulch rock and stone etc.

**Clearing**:

- removal of dead plant material

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- must be in good enough physical shape to work in the sun all day
- must be able to identify common weeds or have some experience weeding
- must have the desire to learn about weeds, annuals and perennials etc (their identification and care)
- must be able to operate a wheel barrow
- must be able to lift at least 20lbs
- must enjoy the outdoors
- must have a pleasant attitude
- must have the drive and ability to focus and stay on task when unsupervised

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
