**About the opportunity**:
As the Market Professional, you are responsible for planning and implementing marketing activities and campaigns primarily, but not limited to the retail (pharmacy channel). You understand the medical device category and are familiar with creating marketing programs, messaging and campaigns aimed at a variety of audiences. You are also familiar with ways to analyze market research and customers' behavior and help to collect data, forecast trends, and assess customer satisfaction.

**What you will be doing**:
Assists with designing, planning and implementation of compelling marketing messages, digital campaigns, and on-line or off-line programs to create brand awareness and drive demand for Ascensia products to targeted pharmacy customers.
Assists with the development of content and administering updates to websites, HCP portals, and customer portals in collaboration with broader marketing and business operations teams.
Drives greater efficiency for customers with on-line order processing, access to training material and digital content and responds to customer queries as needed.
Supports field sales teams with the execution of customer programs and activities with excellence to achieve business goals and market share gain.
Supports the needs of the Long Term Care Facilities in concert with the Field Sales Team and National Account Managers. Be the point of contact for assisting with virtual training, developing materials, shipping materials/products, and conducting any other associated administrative tasks as needed.
Effectively communicates with new pharmacies to initiate contact and build brand awareness and establish a relationship with these customers. Monitors new account sales and hand off to inside sales when appropriate.
Prepares reports on Marketing and Sales metrics on applicable marketing and/or sales campaigns and programs.
Monitor and report competitors marketing and sales activities.

**What you need for success**:
Bachelor's degree in business, science or related field, MBA is an asset
3+ years experience in marketing or related field
3+ years of selling experience in health care, medical devices and/or diabetes
Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques
Strong computer skills including MS Excel, web analytics and Google AdWords, CRM systems
Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns
