**Role Responsibilities**:

- Ensure trucks are shunted to and from the dock in a timely manner.
- Checking reefer and heater settings.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trailers if required. Other warehouse duties if required.
- Shuttle vehicles from the site to service centers for corrective and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct periodic inspections of the vehicles to ensure that mechanical and safety issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures comprising Sysco’s Food Safety program, specific for the assigned role.
- Carry out duties in a safe manner as instructed through safety training.
- Participating in various meetings/groups (shift, departmental, company and safety).
- Coordinating any truck/trailer switches as required, and;
- Any other work as assigned.

**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you)**:

- 1A License (or equivalent) with satsifactory Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Record Check required.
- English fluency
- Reliable and safety conscious with teamwork attitude.
- 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
