**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assessing, treating and providing health education/counselling to patients with diseases or abnormalities of the foot and ankle according to the College of Chiropodist of Ontario
- Prescribing and fitting patients for custom orthotics, and/or other orthopaedic footwear and appliances as needed
- Performing Gait Analysis and Biomechanical on patient
- Foot Care treatments including nail care, and corn or callus removal
- Ensuring Chiropody area, including materials and equipment are maintained and well kept
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records, assessment notes and required correspondence
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Undergraduate degree from a recognized university
- Diploma from a recognized school of Chiropody
- Licensed and registered under the provisions of the Chiropody Act, Province of Ontario
- Current registration with the College of Chiropodists without limitations
- Professional Certification
- D.Ch. or D.Pod.M
- Ability to provide proper care to individuals with diabetes, and/or other serious health problems
