Millard Health is seeking Medical Transcriptionist(s) to join the Medical Department. The focus of the position is to provide efficient medical transcription of the highest quality. Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail in a medical setting are essential to this role.
Your Medical Transcriptionist responsibilities:
- Providing quality transcription of medical dictations in the form of medical letters, memos and reports. This includes data entry, documentation and compilation of reports.
- Meeting stringent report quality and cycle-time requirements.
- Updating, monitoring and disseminating information related to program activity in our internal database system.
- Support the Medical Department by completing various administrative duties as required.
- Interact effectively with team members, physicians, customers, clients and staff.
Your experience and skills:
- High school diploma supplemented with training in medical terminology/medical transcription and secretarial courses in word processing are required.
- Certificate in Medical Transcription preferred.
- Considerable related office experience with advanced dicta-typing skills are essential.
- Experience working with Voice Recognition Technology is preferred.
- Experience working with the medical profession is essential.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Office is required.
- Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.
- The ability to accommodate multiple priorities while accurately completing tasks is imperative.
- Equivalencies may be considered.

**Salary**: $26.49 to $29.45 per hour
