**What is my role?**

As Technical Analyst, you will provide Dymaxion customers and your teammates with good judgement and industry-leading support for internal products and services throughout the enterprise. You must possess a unique blend of technical savvy and knowledge, as well as an exceptional drive to see Dymaxion and its customers succeed. You must enjoy spending time with customers and teammates to understand their businesses and issues and to find innovative solution delivery methods.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company.

**What Responsibilities do I have?**
**Accountability**
- Understand and promote Dymaxion preferred products and solutions.
- Provide System Administration support
- Work well as a valued team member as well as independently when required
- An active focus on departmental revenue generation and growth. Identify opportunities outside the immediate job scope.
- Provide day-to-day support to users, specifically related to server computing devices (servers, NAS).
- Update customer incidents, correspondence, and professional services tools promptly
- Providing equipment (hardware) installation, de-installation, and modification support
- Implementing changes in installed equipment
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment.
- Assisting in the procurement, delivery and installation and testing of new equipment configurations and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot internal software, hardware, and network problems, undertaking repairs and fixes where possible and escalating more complex problems to the Systems Manager or third-party supplier.

**Communication**
- Champion customer issues throughout the Technical Services team.
- Deliver technical services within Dymaxion Service Level Agreements and Statements of Work. Work outside of these parameters requires authorization from the client and/or Technical Services Manager.
- Updating ticket information with status, next steps, and resolutions.
- Recording and asset tracking issues (equipment failure trends, etc.) may affect operational efficiency.
- Assisting members of the engineering staff in maintaining detailed configuration documentation applicable to equipment and cable configurations, firmware settings, equipment utilization metrics, equipment status, etc.

**Sales**
- Supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise and knowledge in a technical pre-sale environment.

**General**
- Other duties and activities may be assigned by the President, Vice President, or Technical Services Manager.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, possess your vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and travel to customer sites.
- After-hours project work may be required from time to time. Willingness to work on after-hours projects assigned by the Technical Services Manager and authorized by the client.

**What Qualification should I have?**
- College diploma or university degree with technical relevance or equivalent work experience (Min 3 years).
- Ability to travel with some local travel requirements (primarily within the Maritime Provinces).
- Certifications would be considered an asset; Microsoft, Network+, A+, Lenovo Server Hardware, HPi & HPE Server Hardware.
- A valid driver’s license to operate a passenger vehicle in the Maritime Provinces.
- Must own a reliable passenger vehicle with valid operating insurance.

**What experience do I need?**
- A background in hardware/software technical support.
- Experience in networking concepts is considered an asset.

**What Technical Skills do I need?**
- Knowledge of:

- Server Hardware
- NAS Devices
- Microsoft 365 (Office, Azure, etc.)
- Windows 2012, 2016, 2019/22 and Windows 8, 10, 11
- System scripting skills (Power Shell, bash)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and services.
- Knowledge of network firewalls, switches, secure Wi-Fi, VPN, and routing
- Knowledge of macOS
- Knowledge of PC hardware
- iOS, Android device management level knowledge
- Exposure to Linux

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
