**Event Attendant**

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is looking for a highly motivated and team oriented individual to work with the Leisure Events team to assist with the Town’s community events. Reporting to the Leisure Events & Marketing Supervisor, the Event Attendant will be responsible for assisting during municipal events.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist with the coordination and supervision during municipal events.
- Assist with directing event attendees, responding to questions and being a Town contact person at events.
- Lead and supervise various event activities such as inflatables, games, crafts, etc.
- Aide in event setup and tear down.
- Provide direction to event volunteers.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to.

**Competencies & Qualification**
- Previous experience in the delivery of special events is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize work and work independently.
- Communicate effectively, professionally and courteously with all levels of staff, external contacts and the general public and be productive in a customer service team environment.
- Promote a culture of inclusiveness and work with a diverse population of employees, participants, agencies and the public.

The hourly rate for this position is $17.05 (2024 rates) per hour.
