**Sonographer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and detailed images for diagnostic interpretation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and the accuracy of results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze ultrasound images, providing accurate and timely reports.
- Maintain and organize patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Stay up to date with industry advancements, attending professional development opportunities, and incorporating new techniques into daily practice.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including equipment maintenance and calibration, to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
- Foster a positive and compassionate patient experience by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal skills.

**Requirements**:

- Certified Sonographer with a recognized diploma or degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Current registration and in good standing with the relevant licensing body. CMRITO.
- Experience as a Sonographer, preferably in a clinic or hospital setting.
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, gynecological, obstetrical, vascular, and musculoskeletal.
- Strong technical skills in operating ultrasound machines and related software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
