Janitor/cleaner

Schedule:
Five days a week, at 2 hours per day (10 hours per week).
**Monday through Friday Evenings **starting at 6PM. This time can be flexible.

Pay: Starting $17.50 (pay increases to $18 after 3 month probation period)
- **Responsibilities**_

Cleaning of following areas: All Offices, Lunchroom, Common Areas, Washrooms, and Entrances.
- All trash will be emptied and trash removed to a collection point.
- All surfaces: counters, chairs, desk tops, tables, pictures, window sills and other furnishings will be thoroughly dusted or damp wiped and disinfected to remove dust, smudges and fingerprints.
- Telephones, photocopiers, computer monitors and other office equipment wil be dusted.
- All carpets will be vacuumed thoroughly.
- All hard surface floors will be mopped, to remove any spillage or soiled areas.
- All entrance metal and glass will be damp wiped, disinfected and polished, to remove finger marks and other deposits.
- Walls will be spot cleaned.
- Areas around light switches, door knobs and door frames will be cleaned and disinfected.
- Recycling will be removed as required.
- Large spills or stains on carpet will be reported.
- Exterior of kitchen cabinets and appliances will be damp wiped and disinfected for best appearance.
- Interior of microwave will be wiped with a damp cloth and germicidal soap.
- All hand towels, tissue and hand soap dispensers will be replenished.
- Mirrors, mirror frames and mirror tops will be cleaned and polished, including bright work.
- Toilets and urinals will be cleaned and disinfected inside and outside; all bright work polished. Toilet seats will be cleaned on both sides and disinfected.
- All sinks and bright work will be scoured, disinfected, and polished.
- Dispensers, fixtures, and towel cabinet covers will be damp wiped using a germicidal cleaner.
- Splash marks will be removed from walls around basins and trash receptacles.
- Restroom floors will be wet mopped and rinsed with germicidal soap.

**Must have a reliable vehicle.**
Preferred: Experience with commercial cleaning.

**Salary**: $17.50-$18.00 per hour
