Pattern Maker

Job Summary: We are looking for a pattern maker who will be collaborating with internal sales, production and quality teams, and external clients to build desired patterns of finished products optimally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working with the production and cutting teams to develop samples for clients in a timely manner by respecting deadlines
- Create and interpret digital designs from technical drawings to ensure their feasibility in terms of cutting and product realization
- Using Accumark to create digital patterns that correspond to the sketch and grading of dimensions and shapes
- Follow precise product specifications, make modifications and alterations throughout the production process
- Optimize fabric usage to avoid waste
- Create certification labels for finished products
- Maintain notes and guidelines for each sample for the production team
- Development of technical datasheets with cover drawings and garment details according to customer requests or information provided by the sales agent.
- Updating datasheets with final production details
- Pattern development and cutfile sample
- Preparation of sample request for cut documents
- Analyze fit test of samples with quality control and sewing manager
- Cutfiles of pattern copies for Production Clerk with ZC/Tissue information
- Creation of parts and cost cards with tissue consumption
- Data entry of materials and bills

Qualifications:

- French and English spoken and written
- Desired education level: AEC in Fashion Design or technical program
- Desired years of work experience: 2-3
- Desires experience in terms of role: 2-3
- Desired experience in terms of environment: 2-3
- Experience in ERP system is an asset
