In the normal course, employees will be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range for a job.

The Recruitment Sales Specialist is responsible for the promotion of recruitment (sales) activities to attract top talent to the Graduate School’s programs: Full-time MBA, JD/MBA, PMBA, IMBA, MBA+MBAN, MBAN, MM and B+MM. This position is part of the Recruitment & Admissions team and works closely with the Student Experience, Development and Alumni Engagement and Business Career Centre teams to provide effective recruiting services to prospective students, as well as support Managers, Recruitment & Admissions (R&A) and unit staff by planning and executing a wide range of recruiting tactics in a variety of settings.

The incumbent also develops and maintains systems for effective lead generation and management, and administers the marketing activities of the Robert H. Lee Graduate School (RHL) working directly with the UBC Sauder Marketing and Communications (MarCom) department, and acts as the main liaison between RHL and MarCom. The incumbent maintains the graduate school's web pages and supervises the design and production of marketing collateral for all graduate school’s programs.

Organizational Status

Reports to the Senior Manager, Recruitment. Receives direction from the Director, Recruitment and Admissions Robert H. Lee Graduate School, and works closely with other members of the RHL R&A management team and the Assistant Dean, Robert H. Lee Graduate School. The position acts as a liaison between the graduate school and MarCom.

Work Performed

Recruitment- Supports the Recruitment (Sales) team through the development and management of the existing Customer Relationship Management system as it pertains to prospective students.- Leads the development of market and school ranking related surveys (QS, Maclean's, GMAC, etc.) to enhance the reputation of RHL and gain insights into our competitors, marketing initiatives, and KPIs.- Coordinates with outside vendors to source international recruitment events and liaises with the RHL Operations Team and UBC's Central Finance team to ensure services are tendered.- Provides promotional and technical co-ordination for all local and international recruitment events, including webinars, e-fairs and other recruitment initiatives.- Meets with prospective RHL students and provides a recruitment presence to local (and occasional out of town) recruitment events.- Analyzes and reports program performance to the RHL team, provides results, updates and recommendations for improvement and new programs.-
