Image Dental is a well-established, successful, and sophisticated dental practice
in Red Deer, Alberta. We are currently seeking a new Dentist to join our team
as one of our current associates is relocating out of the country. The successful
eliminating the need to wait and build their own patient base. Our current dentist has
been billing an average of 90-100k per month, demonstrating substantial
earning potential. As a result, the new dentist can anticipate a strong and
lucrative income from the outset, enjoying financial success right from the start.
This is a remarkable opportunity to become part of our expanding team, which
currently consists of one senior dentist (owner) and two associate dentists.
At Image Dental, our primary focus is on delivering excellence in dentistry through
exceptional teamwork in a perfect environment that has been refined over many
base that has been cultivated over a period of 30 years. Additionally, they will benefit
from a steady flow of new patients and enjoy a high monthly production. We are
seeking a highly motivated Dentist with an excellent work ethic to help us capitalize
on the growth opportunities available in Red Deer and to share in the financial
benefits this will bring.
Our clinic, Image Dental, features eight fully equipped operatories and adopts an
interdisciplinary approach to dentistry, including dental implant placement. We have
made substantial investments in state-of-the-art digital technology, such as 3D
imaging and 2 iTero scanners, among others. The clinic operates seven days a week
and is situated in a lovely suburban location. Our strong and capable team has been
assembled to provide high-quality dental treatments,
exceptional customer service, and comprehensive care.
The new team member will benefit from a tried-and-trusted integration process,
ensuring a seamless transition into Image Dental. They will also have the privilege of
receiving direct mentorship from the practice owner, who possesses over 30 years of
experience across all fields of dentistry.
We are looking for a registered Dental Assistant to join the team, the main job responsibilities includes:
- Arriving 20 minutes before the first patient for a pre shift meeting and to set up
- Work on Clear Dent TO DO List
- Make sure notes and medical histories are signed off by dentists
- I/O photos and x rays are labeled
- Send iTero scans to labs/Invisalign
- Add patient into Invisalign after Invisalign scan is done
- Consent forms are signed for different procedures
- Broken Handpieces are labeled with the reason for repair and sterilized
- Transfer photos to clear dent from digital camera
- Complete all notes and treatment plans
- Orange sheets are complete
- Chart audit is complete
- Take good quality CBCT scans, Panoramic, Bitewing, Periapical Xrays
- Read sticky notes/delete after they are read
- Take Blood Pressure when updating medical history
- Review medical history with patients-check on premedication
- Post op care calls are made
- Patients are your number one priority-Stay alert to their expectations regarding appointment length. If you notice you are going to be running late or finishing early, inform patients so that they can make arrangements if necessary
- Befriend patients. Ask them about their children, grandchildren, where they are originally from, vacations, more. Most people like to talk about themselves
- Review TX plan with patient
- Educate patients about Invisalign, crowning large fillings, crown root canal teeth, replacing missing teeth, leakage on Amalgam fillings(Use I/O photos, models)
- (NO DIAGNOSING TX)
- Reinforce the need for regular hygiene and recare exams
- Wash patient’s sunglasses and make sure there is no residue on them
- Put face shields away after use
- Always discuss patient’s next procedures with them-book all the appointment in the back (hygiene, restorative)
- Book major procedures such as crowns/bridges/implants 6-8 weeks
- Make sure surgery prescription is given to patients (Dr. Chang)
- When short in supplies-write down on the white board in sterilization
- Lab cases are created in Clear Dent and attached to insert appointment
- Any referrals to be sent are created and placed on tracker list
- Any treatment re-dos done or to be done are placed on tracker list
- Check on lab cases for insert appointments
- Ops & sterilization area is stocked
- Sign out and sign in yellow rings
- Rings are scrubbed, rinsed, pouched and put through statim to ensure they are not lost in steri-if a ring is missing, locate before leaving
- Help with sterilization-empty hydrim & ultrasonic, Empty M11/M12, wrap or bag any clean instruments and run M11/M12, drain ultrasonic, make sure hydrim is not running
- M11/M12 maintenance
- Clean and shut down ops
- Monitors are shut off, Netflix/TV shut off before end of shift
- Cavi-wipe lids are closed
- Xray sensors are put away
- Shut off nitrous and oxygen
- Turn off lights, comp
