**Job Description**:
In these courses, students explore the roles of physical activity, nutrition, stress, and sleep in promoting health and wellness; examine risk factors associated with chronic disease; and study basic principles of fitness and training. Through participation in experiential activities, students practice techniques of assessing the health-related and skill-related components of fitness.

Minimum Qualifications:
A master’s degree in kinesiology or a related discipline is required. Prior postsecondary instructional experience is preferred.

Salary placement is based on the Langara instructors’ salary scale in accordance with qualifications and experience.
