Acheson, Canada Twin City Construction Services Inc Full time

Twin City Construction Services Inc. is looking for an experienced Earthworks Superintendent for our Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

The individual will work under the direction of the Operations Manager and will be responsible to adhere to safe working procedures and all company policies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, schedule, direct crews within the budget and timeline assigned
- Provide leadership to field staff
- Ensure that projects are built in according to approved plans, specifications and design drawings while ensuring that high quality standards are maintained
- Coordinating of personnel and equipment resources
- Proactively identifying, addressing, and resolving issues and problems as or before they occur
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors with a focus on mutual trust and respect
- Ordering materials and supplies; daily coordinator or work schedule and manpower
- Coordinate and schedule daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures on the job site
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and progress reports

**Job Requirements**:

- 5 years of Civil construction experience
- Strong communication skills
- Equipment Operator experience
- Valid driver's license - Driver's Abstract is required
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and specifications
- Strong understanding of construction estimating and budgeting
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
