Reporting to the Integrated Director, Diagnostic Services, the Sonographer/ Echocardiographer is responsible for the day to day operation of the Ultrasound and Echocardiography program within the Diagnostic Imaging Department. This position must adhere to all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Successful completion of Ultrasonography and Echocardiography course from a recognized community college or university
- One year ultrasound experience or equivalent
- Maintain annual registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Maintain current BCLS certification
- Computer experience in a windows environment (e.g. EPIC, PACS) preferred
- Demonstrates high level of communication, organizational, time management, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively and cooperatively with all levels of staff, patients and the public
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $36.14-$49.90 per hour
