**Summer Camp Counsellor, Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society - Contract**

**What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day**:

- Responsible for supervising a group of up to 10 campers at all times, and leading activities for up to 16 campers.
- Interacting and supporting campers every day, ensuring all are treated equitably.
- Responsible for supervising, leading and participating in all camp games, crafts and activities.
- Assisting with maintaining a positive, energetic environment for all campers.

**The Details**:

- **Position begins Monday, June 24th and runs Monday-Friday (minus statutory**

**holidays) until Friday, August 23rd.**
- **Weekly commitment: approx. 38 - 42 hours/week, rotating shifts between 8:15**

**a.m. - 5:15 pm**
- **Must have a valid Level C First Aid/ CPR training with proof of certificate required.**
- **Must have a current police vulnerable sector check.**
- **Must be able to work for the entire summer session.**
- **Must have reliable transportation to and from the Stratford Perth Humane**

**Society every day.**
- **Enrolled in University or College in a related field is considered an asset.**
- **At least 1-year previous experience working with children in a leadership role.**
