**Position: Outbound IT Network Technician - Serving Alberta First Nations**

Currently, we're seeking a skilled Outbound IT Network Technician willing to travel extensively to High Level and surrounding areas to deliver vital IT support and services to these communities.
As an Outbound IT Network Technician, you'll play a crucial role in:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT network equipment and infrastructure.
- Diagnosing and resolving IT-related issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborating with local community leaders and residents to understand their specific IT needs and requirements.
- Planning and executing IT network expansion and improvement projects to meet the evolving demands.
- Providing training and support to local staff on IT usage and basic troubleshooting.
**Qualifications**:
We're looking for someone with:
- A strong background in IT and network technology, including experience with routers, switches, and other network equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving IT issues, both remotely and on-site.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with community members and leaders.
- Willingness to travel extensively to High Level, Slave Lake, St. Paul, and surrounding areas to ensure reliable IT access.
**Responsibilities**:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution.
- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal functioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions.
- Perform network upgrades and enhancements as needed.
- Document network configurations and changes for future reference.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
**Requirements**:
You should have:
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and protocols.
- Experience with network support and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure is a plus.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
