NextStar Energy (NSE) is a joint venture between LG Energy Solution and Stellantis.

NextStar Energy will be Canada's first large-scale lithium-ion battery production plant when it begin production at the site on over 200-acres of land on Twin Oaks Drive near Banwell Road.

The manufacturing facility is targeted to have an annual production capacity in excess of 49 gigawatt hours and will create an estimated 2,500 new jobs in Windsor and the surrounding areas.

Production operations planned to launch in the first quarter of 2024.

As a **Equipment/Construction Procurement Specialist**,** your primary responsibility will be to oversee the procurement process for all equipment and materials related to construction projects. You will play a critical role in sourcing, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials while adhering to budgetary guidelines. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the smooth execution of construction projects and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

**Responsibility**:

- Evaluating RFPs and bids
- Plan, schedule and forecast procurement activities
- Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials and subcontractor services for construction projects
- Review plans, specifications and contracts to ensure the correct equipment, material and subcontractor services are ordered and/or purchased
- Invite tenders, consult with suppliers and review quotations
- Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business administration Field
- Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Business administration
- Experiences in purchasing or estimation or installation job
- Legally authorized to work in US/Canada

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Experiences in Canadian construction companies or plant engineering field
- Fluent Korean language
