**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
The MICs Group of Health Services is seeking an Employee Health/OHS Program Lead. This is a management level, full-time non-unionized position which reports to the Executive Lead of the MICs Programs Team (Chief Human
Resources Officer). The MICs Employee Health/OHS Program Lead will be responsible to develop, administer, implement and lead comprehensive and effective employee health/wellness programs and occupational safety programs across the MICs organization, and work in collaboration with the MICs Infection Prevention and Control program as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Educational**
- BScN degree with current CNO certificate of competence
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
- Diploma/degree in Health Administration, Human Resources, or any other related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years management experience in related field
- Certified Member as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act, or willingness to obtain
- Certified Trainer for CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention), or willingness to obtain

**General**
- Advance skills in physical assessment
- Knowledge of Infection Control
- Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize
- Highly motivated, service and team-oriented with attention to detail
- Experience in policy development, legislation review, program development and implementation
- Possess excellent English verbal and written communications skills (English/French bilingual is an asset);
- Strong knowledge of Disability Management and its process, and a good working knowledge of workers compensation regulations and practices.
- Excellent attendance record and punctuality
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
