Solution Architect

Position Description: CGI wants to change the way our customers develop, deliver and operate software. We need highly skilled people with a positive and energetic attitude to join us on this journey. Our Cloud Solution Architect will act as change agents for our clients and disseminate DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering culture and practices. The Solutions Architect will design and execute custom DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering enablement & adoption plans at a technical team level, focusing on the sustainability of change.

- Supporting and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure, Azure Blueprint, Azure Site Recovery and Azure backup
- Deploying workloads on Azure virtual machines
- Hands on experience in Terraform code to deploy multiple resource groups, VMs, and VNETs
- Upgrading version and certificates
- Managing Load Balancers, Azure Policies, AzureKeyVault and Tagging
- Monitoring Azure infrastructure and logs
- Strong knowledge of Azure Networking, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory
- Experience with Cloud and other traditional monitoring technologies, as well as hands on experience instrumenting alerts based on aggregated logs and analytics output.Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Qualifications:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure AKS
- Proficient in Administrating Azure laaS/PaaS, Azure Virtual Machines, VNET, Network services and Azure DevOps
- Hands on experience on SQL Databases, Storages, Azure Active Directory, Monitoring, Autoscaling, PowerSheII Automation, Azure Search, DNS and VPU
- Strong understanding of Terraform with experience in container technologies i.e. Kubernetes & AKS
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud services (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS)
- Strong knowledge of Azure Networking, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory
- University Degree/Certification
Desired Experience:

- Prior Experience with Cloud Migration
- Construction/Setting up Landing Zone
- Migration of workload from Datacenter to Azure Cloud
- Experience with Azure Landing zone, Azure Blueprint.
