**As a Research Analyst at CPA Canada, you will support research initiatives and development of thought leadership for CPAs in various areas including but not limited to audit and assurance, financial reporting, sustainability, and big data and technology.**:

**What you'll do**:

- Conduct in-depth research using news sources, research databases, government information (including statistics) and white papers
- Perform media monitoring and environmental scans to keep abreast of a broad range of topics and industry developments
- Evaluate the credibility, validity and reliability of information sources, to ensure that only trustworthy and valid information is used to prepare summaries of research in support of research objectives and project work
- Assist with various stakeholder outreach activities which may include meeting set up, note taking, summarize of key finding/feedbacks
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Work closely with the research team to ensure all research objectives are met and that the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the research process

- Currently attending University or College with minimum completion of your first year of study
- A team player
- A deeply ingrained intellectual curiosity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed people skills: ability to interface members and program partners, with tact and diplomacy
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, and familiarity with software for group work/collaboration
- Values integrity, excellence, collaboration, respect and is accountable
- Superior organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
- French language proficiency will be considered an asset but is not required
