As the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel's dining and beverage outlets. You will work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to maintain high-quality standards, maximize revenue, and provide an unforgettable dining experience to our guests.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of servers, bartenders, and support team to deliver exceptional service.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, banquets, and in room dining.
- Monitor guest feedback and take proactive measures to address concerns, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management to meet financial goals while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with the culinary and bar team to create and update menus that cater to guest preferences and market trends.
- Oversee the planning and execution of special events, private dining, and banquets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licensing requirements.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the food and beverage team.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to optimize costs.
- Champions social media efforts to ensure messaging is dynamic, engaging and effective.
- Other duties as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and guide the team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Valid Serving it Right certificate
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
