Delivery Driver Needed in Gatineau

**ShipX Courier Inc. **is seeking self-employed delivery drivers to join our team and deliver packages in **Gatineau, particularly Chelsea and Cantley.** We are looking for flexible and hard-working drivers.

**Job description**
- You are required to inspect, scan, and load your route into your vehicle in a timely manner.
- Also, deliver the packages to customers as per company’s standards within a set time limit.
- Daily work hours depend on multiple factors including size of route, area, and weather conditions. However, the warehouse is located in Ottawa and the load-out time is usually 1-2 PM.

**Requirements**:

- A valid driver's license (Full G license required) and good driving record (without major tickets).
- Vehicle insurance and registration
- A smartphone with a sufficient data plan
- **All wheel drive cars/ SUVs/minivans recommended, but SUVs are highly preferred because of the area you will be working in.**

**Abilities**
- Must be punctual and responsible.
- Must be able to handle packages that are 30 lbs. and above.
- Must be able to complete a route with 80-120 stops each day of work (approximately 90-140 packages).
- Must be comfortable with working in **all weather conditions.**:

- **Delivery experience is another MAJOR ASSET.**:

- All Criminal background checks are paid for by the company.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.

**Additional details to consider**:

- This position is an independent contractor position so you will be **self-employed**.
- We pay weekly and your weekly payout depends on the number of parcels you deliver each week.
- Drivers’ schedules are made weekly based on their availability.

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: $850.00-$1,200.00 per week
