**General Position Description**:
This position is responsible for regulatory compliance for raw materials and formulation within the North

American and International Market. This position will be a part of the Regulatory & Quality Assurance

department, working closely with Product Development, R&D, Raw Material Teams, Marketing and

Project Management Teams. The job includes organization and maintaining of documentation, as well

as driving projects in collaboration with project management and regulatory team to achieve regulatory

compliance for new and existing products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze supplier documents to ensure there are no discrepancies in data within the Internal

Specifications. This includes but is not limited to specification sheets, ingredient statements,

nutrition, allergen statements, genetically modified statements, and other related

documentation.
- Regularly communicates with R&D Product Development, Raw Material, Commercialization,

Food Law Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure raw material and finished product

specifications are accurate and compliant with regulations.
- Maintains an understanding of compliance requirements and identifies gaps in existing

documentation.
- Develops Ingredients List and Safety Data Sheets according to Regulatory Guidance

Documents and Health Canada, FDA, and International requirements.
- Works across functions and independently communicates with all functional and operating

groups on specification and labeling related and compliance matters.
- Oversees and completes the compatibility and stability testing of new products as well as

existing products
- Maintain reports and records of the development of ongoing products through analysis and

summary of stability and compatibility results
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Knowledge, skills, and work experience requirements**:

- Growth mindset, positive learning attitude, committed and passionate about team success.
- Strong background in raw materials, compatibility testing, stability testing, and Ingredient list

development
- In-depth knowledge of worldwide formulation requirements: North America and International
- Knowledgeable of Health Canada, FDA, and ISO guidelines
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong Microsoft skills (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)

**Educational requirements**:
B.S. in Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field required

2 years experience within the Regulatory, Quality, or Research and Development industry preferred

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON M3J 3J9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
