Make an impact with our Accounting and Administration team as a Bookkeeper/Receptionist. **Responsibilities**
- Assist with full-cycle Monthly and quarterly bookkeeping
- Prepare and maintain government remittances/filings, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable and payroll transactions
- Set-up client files, assist with the completion of budgets and complete administrative planning
- Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of office
- Perform routine clerical duties including photocopying, faxing and printing reports and daily deposits, as required
- Manage reception switchboard; answer and direct incoming calls from internal and external sources
- Greet clients and visitors
- Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, intercompany and point of sale (POS)/system uploads
- Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies and discuss with managers or engagement partners to develop resolutions
- Communicate with the government regarding information requests, assessments and installments
- Work collaboratively with the client engagement team
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

**Skills and Experience**
- Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting is considered an asset
- 1 year of full cycle bookkeeping experience
- Experience working with cloud accounting software such as QBO and/or Xero is preferred
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes
- Understanding of sales taxes (GST, PST, HST), payroll taxes and corporate tax
- Experience working with desktop bookkeeping software is beneficial
