Lloydminster, Canada Dekker Oilfield Services Ltd. Full time

Dekker Oilfield Services Ltd. has an opening for a self-motivated, responsible, and well-organized professional for a permanent flexible time **Bookkeeping position**.

Reporting to the controller, the bookkeeper will have broad responsibilities covering paperwork flow, data entry, general accounting duties, and ad hoc projects.

**Specific Job Duties Include**:

- Organizing and providing multi-tasked accounting and operational service including preparing documentation.
- Editing and verifying accuracy.
- Composing correspondence.
- Compiling data/reports.
- Coordinating the efficient flow of paperwork amongst departments.
- Accounts payable and account receivable.
- Reconciling bank accounts.
- Working within Excel and QuickBooks Desktop to post journal entries, enter and review data, run reports, analyze data and problem solve.

**Qualifications, Skills and Abilities**
- Over five years accounting experience
- Completion of post-secondary accounting courses or accounting certificate program desirable but not required.
- Good interpersonal skills (communication, listening).
- Professional customer service skills.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Exceptionally detailed oriented and well organized.

**Software in use**:

- QuickBooks Desktop (multiuser)
- Office suite including Outlook
- Telpay for business
- Cortex/Workbench/Open Invoice

**Experience in the following areas considered an asset**:

- Collections and accounts receivable
- Oil and gas or transportation industry
- Payroll oversight
- Payments and accounts payable
- Year end reporting (WCB, T4s)

This is a flexible position, but will require at least 6 hours per day.
