Metal Deburring/Polishing Technician

Avion is a manufacturing company within the Aerospace industry. We manufacture part numbers to final assemblies. Avion is a leading supplier of high quality gears, gearboxes, components, and sub-assemblies for highly demanding customers.

Job description:
Seeking a motivated individual to join our growing company **part-time, as a Deburring Technician.**

Responsibilities and duties would be as follows:

- Responsible for deburring and polishing of aluminum and steel machined parts.
- Responsible for visual inspection and buffing/polishing of defects.
- Responsible to cleaning, washing, and packaging parts for shipment
- Seeking responsible person who can work with mínimal supervision and has attention to detail.

Qualifications/Requirements:
**- Must have minimum 2 year deburring and polishing of metal parts and using related power tools.**
- Must have an overall positive attitude, punctual, reliably, self motivated, works well independently and well as part of a team.

Aerospace experience will be an asset.

An understanding of manufacturing process is an asset.
- Avion is a Controlled Goods Registered facility - all employees must pass security assessments which include a police records check.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16- 40 per week
