ITI is looking for an accounting technician, working remotely, to provide general accounting support and to assist in issuing monthly financial statements. The person will ensure account analyses and support other departments as needed. You will report to the Senior Finance Manager/Controller and work in collaboration with members of the finance team.

**Your role at ITI**

In collaboration with members of the finance team, you will be responsible for:

- Collaborate with Assistant Controller and Controller to complete month-end process;
- Accurately record and maintain financial transactions;
- Post journal entries;
- Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts, including month-end and year-end adjusting entries;
- Assist in the preparation of month-end working papers;
- Maintain internal controls and best accounting practices;
- Balance sub-ledger accounts;
- Prepare tax remittance forms;
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits;
- Prepare financial reports as required;
- Record month-end closing entries, including accruals and prepaid expenses;
- Maintain fixed asset register. Including acquisitions, disposals and depreciation calculations;
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

**What we’re looking for**

**Profile**
- 2 to 3 years' experience in a general accounting position;
- College diploma in administration, accounting or related field;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel at advanced level;
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English. (The ability to communicate in English is necessary to collaborate with English-speaking employees);
- Knowledge of inter-company management is an asset.
