- We are seeking a_ **_Buyer_** _to join our _**_Supply Chain Team._**
- Reporting to the Procurement Manager, Direct Spend_, the Buyer will _be responsible for_ sourcing and _procuring_ packaging materials in _a timely_, _efficient_ and cost-effective manner. Strategic procurement acumen will be needed across multiple categories of spends and find cost competitive suppliers. Takes a coordinating lead, working closely with internal and external parties to ensure supply of materials is in place to satisfy production requirements. Responsible for developing and _maintaining_ long term strategic sourcing plans, back up alternatives and risk assessment for all packaging materials._

**_ We are looking for a teammate with:_**
- Diploma - Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or other secondary education preferred but not required
- 1 year of direct eCommerce experience, with a solid understanding of user experience, site operations, order fulfillment, promotions, merchandising associated with a top online retailer
- Detailed problem solver able to creatively troubleshoot issues
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Able to work independently as well as on project teams
- Strong analytical and fact-based decision-making skills
- Experienced utilizing data analytics software, including functional knowledge of Google Analytics and other performance measurement tools
- Functional knowledge of Magento and Oracle

This teammate will be accountable for:_**
- University Degree or Diploma
- Certificate in related business or technical field required (CPP) preferred
- Experience in Oracle EBS system or equivalent Purchasing system preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement required
- Experience in a manufacturing process environment preferred
- Proven analytical, problem solving, negotiating and decision-making skills
- Ability to forge strong relationships with stakeholders in other functional areas at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision, showing initiative and sound judgement
