We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Childcare Staff to join our team and provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our childcare facility. As a Childcare Staff member, you will play a crucial role in supporting the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of children while promoting positive social interactions and fostering a love for learning.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Supervise and monitor children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.

2. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, games, and educational programs that encourage learning and development.

3. Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel comfortable and valued.

4. Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment, including the proper sanitization of toys and equipment.

5. Collaborate with other staff members and parents to discuss child progress, behavior, and any concerns.

6. Attend to children's basic needs, including feeding, diapering, and assisting with potty training.

7. Promote positive behavior and discipline through effective communication and redirection techniques.

8. Observe and document children's progress, milestones, and any developmental concerns.

9. Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly, following established safety protocols.

10. Foster a sense of respect, empathy, and kindness among children, promoting positive social interactions.

11. Provide emotional support and comfort to children when needed.

12. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

13. Adhere to all childcare regulations and policies, ensuring a safe and compliant environment.

14. Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, updating them on their child's daily activities and progress.

**Requirements**:
1. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; relevant education or certification in early childhood education is a plus.

2. Proven experience working with children in a childcare or similar setting.

3. Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging situations with a positive attitude.

6. Physical stamina and the ability to engage in active play with children.

7. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one).

8. Ability to pass a background check and meet any other licensing requirements.

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
